I'm quite attracted to the idea of big bad things being not-so-bad after all. Good demons, gentle giantesses, that sort of thing. It is equal parts fascinating, funny, and attractive to think of a monster that is very much capable of hurting you being a very tender person who is CLEARLY unwilling to actually hurt you.
