Drumming up interest for Registration convention staffing (feel free to share around). The regIT team runs registration for San Japan. Registration this year is 20 of the roughest, toughest, rootin, tootin, hardcore professionals you are likely to meet. And we're looking for some new people.

Registration staff don't just work a couple hours a day and spend a bunch of time going to panels or hanging out with friends. Registration staff aren't volunteers. You don't have access to the perks San Japan offers. Registration is a little bubble that exists to kill lines as long as Registration is open Thursday-Sunday. Compensation is also a little different too.

Bed space, travel reimbursements, badge, shirt, we eat well, and greenhorns get paid. This isn't volunteering, this is Thursday-Sunday Registration hours you are clean, dressed, and working. Your hours off are when Registration is not open and what you do on your time is up to you so long as you're ready to work again the next day. Sleeping is encouraged.
