Dapple is a goddess in her own grove.

She is also a god.



For a Faun (sometimes referred to as a Dryad), life is one of balance, always balance.  The cool seasons and the warm seasons, the night and the day; death and life.

For Dapple's grove, deep in the Carpathian mountains, surrounded by nothing but green wild, punctuated by the startling calls of Ural owls, balance is a strange thing.

Her grove is far too remote to have a Horned god, as well as a Horned goddess.  Dapple is the only Faun in this wild place, so she is as nature has made her.

Both goddess and god of her grove.  Both male and female.

When time comes to dance beneath the waxing harvest moon and thank the Mother for all She has given, it is only Dapple who dances, surrounded by

the forest animals, eyes shining bright against the velvet dark.



Her gender changes with the seasons, as does the color of her manhood, when she is in season--from brightest sunset pinks and greens (summer, Male) to dusky greens and browns (fall male)
