I’m so excited!!! (Even if he did wait a few months shy of 6 years to do it. >_>) We’re going to get married on Halloween night 2012. It’s going to be a FREAKING AWESOME Hallowedding complete with costumes and festive decorations! (It will actually wind up being more of a Halloween party than a wedding but whatev’s.) ^_^
He asked me the day after Christmas at a restaurant with a couple of our close friends present. (They will actually be our maid of honor and best man) :P

When I went to tell my mother that I was engaged I tried to convince her that I had come to terms with the fact that I was a lesbian (lie). Her face right up to the point where I spouted off “Nah, I’m just fucking with you, I’m engaged!” was absolutely priceless. XD

Just DAYS after the proposal my mother was griping at me saying that I needed to get in touch with a possible photographer that we know and find a place… It hadn’t even been a week yet! I don’t even have my ring yet (as it’s being resized) I mean geez woman chillax and let me be engaged for a bit. We’ve got 10 months and I am FAR from being picky. :P

I say that but we’ve already picked out our wedding bands and I’m already pretty sure of the dress I will be getting (If I can have a couple of alterations to it). I also decided I will be wearing stomp boots and a cape instead of a veil (I have a really freaking awesome one already picked out). So…. lol

Any ideas or advice you would like to offer is always welcome. ^_^
