Okay, so I've been kind of in the fandom for a while, now (I started posting my stories here 8 years ago, it looks like! O.O ) and I haven't gotten very many commissions in that time. At the moment, I'm comfortable in my job, so I've decided that I need to get some artwork done. There are too many artists who have been making wonderful pictures that I've enjoyed for way too long without giving them anything in return. I know just ordering a commission isn't that much, really, but I feel like it's the least I can do.

I've decided to make a list of the artists that I'm thinking about getting some commissions from, if I can catch them when they're offering some.

I know that some of these artists aren't taking commissions (and some might not take any at all, I tried to check, but I could have made a mistake) and there have got to be a bunch that should be on the list that I just forgot, but this'll do for the moment.

Since there aren't specific scenes or anything that I want to have drawn, it's definitely helpful if the artists are okay with fairly vague requests - I know some people like to get really clear instructions, but I'm not all that good at coming up with ideas for particular drawings, so it's best for me if an artist doesn't mind taking a character and a theme and drawing something they think is fun. Sometimes, I can look at an artist's past work and come up with an idea that I think they'll be particularly good at and maybe have fun with, but I don't really want to make anybody draw anything they don't like, so sometimes it's hard coming up with a good idea.
