Welcome to the FX Furs group! If you are a practical special effects artist, or simply like practical special effects, feel free to join!

The aim of this group is to join FX artists together, to help each other out along the way, and to raise awareness of practical effects.

Practical special effects include (but are not limited to) prosthetic pieces, character makeup/body paint, props, masks and animatronics. Basically, anything along these lines that is physical (this is not a group for computerized images or digital animations). The only thing this doesn't include is fursuits, but we may still add certain suit parts (such as ears or tails) if they are animatronic or in some way mechanized.



*All you have to do to join is +watch the group and post our icon on your profile page.
**Members will be watched back, and will be eligible to have their submissions posted on our page.

If you would like to submit your own picture to the group, send us a note with what you want posted and if you have anything you want to say in the description.

Once the group gets going, we'll be posting journals once every two months featuring one of our members' works. If you would like to be featured, send us examples of your work in a note.
There is also talk of implementing a 'Tutorial Tuesday'. If you have any requests for certain tutorials or if you want to submit one, note us with your submission or request.
