Introduction

Hello all! :3 We are 'Helping Paw'! A small group set up to offer free counselling guidance to Furries. We're here to listen and advise you with any queries or issues you may have. Our service is 100% free, and always will be, and the conversations are 100% confidential.

How does it work?

All you have to do is add one of our Instant Messaging accounts, and providing we're online, start a chat with us! We aim to be available as much as possible, and conversation logs are NOT stored. In some cases, where you may wish to talk to us more than once, we may ask to take notes. In this case, we will show you the notes we wish to add to our confidential log at the end of each discussion. You are always within your right to not have even this information held, as we believe in transparency and help which benefits you.

Why the anonymity?

We want to provide the best possible advise to anyone who may wish to speak to us. We believe that this advise is best given without the pressures of identity. We wouldn't want anyone feeling worried about being around one of our members in real life. We are here online to help you, nothing from our service will be taken out of our discussions.

What can I talk about?

Pratically anything. You don't have to be asking us anything specific. You could use us to vent about something which may have you annoyed. You could ask us for advise on friendships or relationships. You could ask for critique on art even! Whatever you feel needs to be said, we're here to listen to it and respond accordingly.

What limits are there?

In discussion, we may at points offer guidance or advise on certain issues. These are only points of advise, and it should be remembered that one persons advise on friendships and relationships could work better than the next person's. We offer the best advise we can, but it can't pay off 100% of the time, so if something doesn't quite work out the way we planned it, don't be upset or mad, just chat to us about it and we'll try something!
