Hello! I just want to give you guys an update on how things have been lately (spoiler, not so great)
The 2th of February I had to get surgery because I had a fistula that caused an abscess with a really bad infection.
I was in a lot of pain, I had fever and I couldn't sit down or lay down on my right side, it was very uncomfortable and very very painful.
One week prior surgery, the doctor performed a procedure where he put some anesthesia (it wasn't enough D: ) and cut my skin to release a bit of pressure. It was very painful, but it helped for a couple of days, then everything got pretty bad and I had a lot of fever an pain, that's when we decided to reschedule the surgery as soon as possible.

The surgery went as planned and I felt much better pain-wise. Everything was still pretty uncomfortable as I couldn't sit down properly and going to the bathroom was a long and tedious process every time.
I had 3 open wounds that had to be kept open to allow all the infection to drain out naturally, it was uncomfortable, painful and I was worried all the time that they could become infected, but the doctor said it would be fine.

My recovery went as planned and I was feeling a bit optimistic, and then I had a bad relapse because another abscess formed in another place, far from the drains. It was really painful, everything was sore and swollen. I was very worried that something was very wrong, so I decided to go to the doctor again.


I went to the doctor and well, he decided to perform another procedure where he put medical tweezers inside the open wound, opened it and tried to drain everything out, all without anesthesia. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced and I'm surprised I didn't passed out to be honest. After that I had a couple of terrible days pain wise and with my mental health. I couldn't sleep and kept remembering the pain all day. I had night terrors that woke me up in cold sweat and shivering from fear remembering all the pain I felt.
It might sound silly but it was really bad.

I had to go to another doctor and she said I wouldn't feel that kind of pain anymore, thankfully she has kept her promise so far.
She performed another surgery where she made a whole the size of a thumb in my gluteus and I finally felt better again. Right now I can sit down again for shot periods of time and I can lay down on my right side again, so that's good progress.

I don't know what will happen now, I probably need another surgery to change the drains, but I'm not sure when that will happen.

I wanted to let you all know what was going on and why I haven't been active. I know you are here just for the art, but behind every art gallery is a person that sometimes is going through a lot of stuff.
I also want to thank all of my clients for being so patient with me, you keep me strong! And I will get back to work as soon as I can, it's my next priority after my health.
