I fled a wildfire and had to relocate

It felt silly at the beginning when there was this tiny 2 foot wide fire and they were making us evacuate.
We got on the Ferry and were taken to the off-shore island before being given a hotel room for 24 hours.
Seemed like the Rowan family that owns the farm we live and work on was being ridiculously cautious.
But as time went on and more and more people came in from there we realised just how bad things got and fast.
They did the right thing evacuating the instant the fire was in sight and thanks to them everyone is safe.
Scotland's been on fire watch all week.
The peat bogs had dried into hard clay infused with oil not unlike a piece of coal.
The long grass shrugs cover it for miles and it's dry and yellow and almost crumbles to the touch.
We all knew that a fire could appear at any moment but even with all the efforts to douse the land it didn't stop the spread.
My living space is completely gone, burned to nothing but ash and rubble.
All my personal belongings are gone, except for my phone which I always keep on me.
I've lost all my clothes, my plushies, and even expensive stuff like my video game console and games.
Worst still, I've lost my indentity papers, driving licence, passport, birth cirtificate, etc.
I'm an immigrant and now I have no proof that I'm not an illegal immigrant at least on paper.
I'm gonna have to make an appeal to the board and stuff to have copies of my papers made.
The guests at the hotel we stayed in while waiting to be picked up and taken to wherever were very nice to let us share their hotel rooms.
The manager however was a massive jerk about it and wanted us to pay for our rooms.
He got sorted out by the fire brigade though as they threatened him with legal action if he tried to do that.
Being asexual and sharing a living space with a new couple was kinda awkward.
Having to explain the whole thing about being in a relationship but it's only romantic.
God bless them they wanted to extend that olive branch but they just didn't get it.
Manager caused trouble later on as well because of the bathroom situation.
Kept saying he has nothing against trans people and saying whether I prefer to be seen as a boy or a girl.
Awkward.
He would not accept any answer other than those two because the bathroom was split male and female.
I just couldn't explain the concept of intersex to him and he thought I'd had some weird surgery.
Well we're across from Glasgow at the moment and it's not a good omen when you turn up and they say there was a wildfire nearby.
Hopefully in this case lightning won't strike twice.
