Name is Scott IRL, I answer to Atlas#11, Jato, or Slide online.
IDK if I'd even call myself an artist really, I spend much more time and effort on scientific things than artistic expression...
Art-wise I work with 3ds max, adobe creative suite 4 master collection, Maya 2009 and whatever other tools I feel like using. Camera is a Samsung S860 $60 point and shoot.
Currently I'm attending UAT in Tempe, AZ. I highly recommend you find off campus living or something if you want to come here, it's pretty boring on campus.

How do you spend 18 hours a day in front of a computer without your eyes falling out? Or is there some way to do 3ds max without spending 18 hours a day in front of a computer?
On the bright side, phenom ii is a very noticeable improvement over its predecessor. My render times are down by quite a bit, especially in Maya, who's rendering algorithms apparently make better use of the l3 cache. Phenom 2 920 scored almost twice what the 9500 did on SPECap x64 4 thread. :D So that made me happy.
