Whoo boy. It's almost time to pack up the suit, prepare business cards (handmade, I just don't want to be another 100 lb glossy in the Rolodex), practice the pitch, etc. That's right, It's con time again! Given the fact that school isn't going so well and my jobs are crushing my willpower, I think Olive Branch will offer the solace I need. I'm going to be hosting an Arkansas Meet and Greet as well as an artist trading card panel at this con in hope of giving back to this vibrant community. I have the trading card thing down to a science, but the meet and greet will be a challenge, hopefully one that can be easily met with a little bit of schmoozing. On the business end of things, I hope to ply my trade as an artist/writer to the various publishers assembled. I have the script and roughs, but I'll be putting together a press kit of sorts to lure potential parties into distributing my adult satire of the MLP phenomenon entitled "Tell me no lies and keep your hooves to yourself". I think this thing has the potential to compete with the Clubstripes offering, but I suppose I'll have to gauge interest first. I may not have the name recognition, crew, or resources of the big guns, but I have to at least try. Anybody who has gotten this far, you are a saint and I hope to see you in Mississippi!
