My Back Story!

My name is Priestess Kiri.

I was born in the mountains of the north to my mortal mother and my mortal father. My childhood was nothing to brag about. I played with friends, got muddy, got scars and bruises to match my explorative nature. Life was beautiful.

However, that all changed on the day of my eighth birthday. A Priest showed up in town, asking for offerings to the gods. These were not offerings of grain and jewels. This was a offering of flesh and blood. An offering of a life. When no one stepped forward the priest offered a monthly tithe of food and wealth as compensation for a daughter. My father convinced my mother that the tithe was more than enough for my life, and without time to say goodbye the Priest had taken me away from my hometown in the south mountains to the north.

The North Mountains are a lonely place, always cold and with very few people. I began my training as one of the seven Priestess used to communicate with the gods. When the last girl turned 18 years old, we were forced to choose a god to take care of. Being the youngest, I was the last to pick, and the only option left was Death. It was then that I began my service to him, and in a short time, I was promoted to High Priestess of all the gods. That is now the position I hold.

I am the High Priestess of the Seven.
