I have been a very minor part of the fandom for 3 years. I have lots of ideas in my head for projects, but with work and all, I haven't been too successful at getting to them.
Korinna Feh the artist:
I have been doing art since I was very young. I've been to a number of classes and I have my strong points and weak points. One of the biggest deficiencies I have is anatomy (any constructive criticism is this area is greatly appreciated).
When I was younger, I drew a lot of animals, especially unicorns and horses, giraffes, whales, felines, canines, bunnies and birds. I also liked drawing flowers, though I was never too good at them. Then, I started doing landscape pictures when I was in middle school. In high school, I got into drawing humans and in college, manga style characters. I like the Manga shine in hair. Sometimes I make hair transparent, sometimes I don't, depending on what I am going for.
I have been doing anthropomorphic characters of some ilk since 2005. I became a part of the furry fandom in 2007. I am still trying to develop my "style" but, like I said, with working, I don't get to draw as much as I would like. I know I like to incorporate elements of realism, but my style comes out... more cartoony. My anthro characters tend to have more animal-like faces and limbs, with human bodies, hair and genitalia.
I have been doing computer colouring using Adobe Photoshop since 2003 (though I have known how to colour with this program since I was in fourth grade.) I have adopted colour pencils as my traditional colouring method.
Personally, I believe all artists have something to improve upon. I welcome constructive critique. If you know of a tutorial that I could learn something from, please feel free to link that to me in a comment, shout or PM! Things I am most interested in learning more about include: anatomy in general; hand, limbs and feet; fur patterns (how to render fur); foreshortening/perspective; facial expressions.
I have two comic projects I would love to get off the ground. One is involving me as my character, Korinna Feh, and the other involves love, lumber and politics in an alternate version of Canada.
Also, what makes me different from my character is that I was not born in Germany or raised in Washington State. I was born in Utah and raised in California. Also, I wear glasses. Otherwise, Korinna the character and Korinna the artists are pretty much one in the same. :)
Korinna Feh the character:
I am a European Red Squirrel born in Munich, Germany and raised in Washington State. I am lead guitarist for a furry rock band with four others. We're currently on hiatus and potentially looking for a new member. I love gingersnap cookies, vanilla milk, video games and rock! You'll see pictures of me everywhere on this page, so I won't bother to describe myself. ;)

If you're visiting my page, many of you have probably already seen
's Journal. But, I figured I'd give my side!
First, I should preface that
redadillio and I are both gamers. Maybe not hardcore, but we love playing video games. We both grew up with Nintendo and for our first Valentines day, we exchanged Nintendo DS systems.
redadillio had been customizing old Nintendo cartridges with his own labels since May-ish. I even have a couple he customized for me. This Christmas, he made me one with me (in squirrel-form) and Chirisu (my pet). I opened that up yesterday and I was so in love with the idea, I said "Make this happen!" Well, the very last gift I opened was a DS package with the same art on it. I looked at him quizzically, then opened the box. There was an instruction booklet, very detailed, and a DS game cartridge with the the same art, as well. Then I asked, "Is this playable?" He didn't answer. So, he grabbed my DS and popped it in. It was a REAL WORKING GAME with characters he and I have created. So, I played through the game, oohing and aahing at the details. Then, at the end, there was this tower my character had to climb. There, I met
redadillio, and he does this long spiel about our 5 year journey together and the character asked, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" And there was a "YES" and "NO" button. I hit "Yes" of course, but not after I said "Yes" aloud. Hahaha! It's a really cool little game and I can play it over and over again and relive that moment. It was pretty awesome. I'm so lucky to have
redadillio in my life! ♥
