I'm gonna be asking a huge favor here. I'm not gonna be doing a crowdfund because we'll need the funds sooner than a new GFM will pay out.

Next month, I'm gonna be accompanying my friend Mars to California to offer emotional support and any help I can manage clearing out their late father's home. They've been my caretaker this past month, and I want to be there for them in return.

To keep things relatively short and simple: they've had a nightmare of a time due to family drama, and cannot currently access estate funds they're entitled to, so they're having to rely on financial assistance while they deal with everything, getting the house cleared out and settling the estate.

Mars has a lot of food allergies so that's the biggest expense for us. It's the primary reason I've been asking for funds frequently this month, between my own medical needs and helping them offset their food stamps.

We'll need a hotel room to stop on the drive out there for one night as well.

I don't have funds to cover this trip, so I'm gonna need help covering the cost of us being there several weeks.

Any help is massively appreciated. We've burned through a lot of their saved food money so I'd like to try and balance that as much as able.
