I'm alive, theoretically. I won't get into details, but I've been unable to write nearly anything for almost a year now. I'm sitting on a finished story that I will post soon, though you should be warned that it's my most intense yet.

I want to get back into writing, both out of need and because I want to make something genuine out of this. My success with what little I've worked on has led me to update my prices, too: I will now be writing at a rate of $10 per 1K words, though word count beyond what's requested will not be charged (as has already been the case). It's okay if you disagree with this pricing; I understand I have little to show for it. I cannot guarantee that I won't disappear indefinitely yet again at some point, but here's trying not to - and do consider that I never take payment upfront, precisely because of this issue of mine.

As a minor update, I will say that, although established media characters are hard for me to work with, I am now open to stories within the universe of and featuring characters from the Homestuck franchise (including Hiveswap), since I have grown very familiar with them. I don't think this will have an impact on my public, but it's still noteworthy - especially being a bit of a niche on this website.

I am not taking commissions at the moment, since I have some things to get out of the way before I can move on, but, if you have been meaning to get something from me, be on the lookout for further updates. I will consider trades as well, but please don't expect requests to be open anytime soon - I'm not in a state where I can work without significant incentive. I hope you understand.

It would be good to take this chance to also thank you all for your support. I'm almost at 250 Faves and 50 Watchers, which is shocking to me.
