(the following is a description of the scale-sona, Jericho, the Candy Dragon)


Before we get into it, you must first ask yourself what exactly IS a Candy Dragon? No, it isn't some edible creature, or sculpture of sugar. A Candy Dragon is nothing more than an ordinary dragon feral, they are just small, adults usually about the size of a Great Dane in height. They got their name Candy Dragon from their diet, which consists mainly of Sugar Cane, Sugar Beets, and many kinds of fruit. One can think of them as the hypoglycemics of the dragon world. Though a more accurate description would be Hummingbirds. Their entire lives, which are shorter than normal dragons, are lived in relative peace and indulging in sugary foods. This is not to say they do not eat other things, if they are in desperate need of food, they will eat what any other dragon species eats, meat. There are several kinds of Candy Dragon species, from the Northern Blueberry Swirl Dragons, to the southern Banana Cream Dragons. The particular species that Jericho belongs to is also known as the "Sweet Mint Dragon". His parents were both Sweet Mint's, and his siblings as well, he was the odd one out however, as instead of the Blue and Green highlights Sweet Mint's are known for, he has Green and Yellow, which gets him confused with the "Lemon and Lime Dragon" variety.

A surefire way to tell what sub-group a Candy Dragon belongs to is through smell, they will actually smell like what they are based on. Jericho does in fact smell like Mint. Another way besides asking them, is the ambient emotions they seem to radiate. Sweet Mint's always seem to exude an aura of calm, even in a fight.

Jericho's full name is just that...Jericho, he has no last name, no clan-name, he is merely Jericho, just as his family is only the name they were given upon hatching.

Though laid back, Jericho is often mistaken for being apathetic, or uncaring, this is not true, he merely does not see much point in emotions for right now, though he does often lay awake at night, wondering if he would meet someone who would make him able to show emotions, and perhaps even be intimate with.
