Idk if anyone cares about it, but if you do, here are an explanation of why I don't post my art frequently.

When I started learning to draw, I loved it and had fun, but after about a year or so, I started with digital art, and after that, I slowly began to demand too much of myself for my art to have "perfect" quality (which is impossible), or at least to always be better.

This self-imposed pressure became excessive and started to hurt me a lot because I judged myself very negatively. Along with that, I compared myself to other artists in the fandom and always thought my art was inferior. I know this is wrong, because everyone has their own art style, everyone has practiced drawing for more or less time than others, but anyway, it happened and it was making me very mentally unwell, it was hurting me. So I gradually reduced my drawing practice to the point where I practically gave up. And that's why I don't post new art, especially digital art.

Despite this, I still hope to be able to draw again someday in a healthy way, without toxic self-criticism and comparisons, but I don't know when that will happen, because I think I need help from a psychologist to deal with these issues; dealing with this by myself is very difficult. And I also have some other problems/questions in life to deal with, like job, studies, adult things like most people have, you know.

So, this journal is a clear explanation of my situation and might be a glimmer of hope if you care about my art, ty for you attention if you read this all <3
