Words will never be enough, there isn't a form of expression, communication, observation or anything else that could encompass half of the love Forest had in his heart for those who shared this world with him. Language has never felt so inept at conveying the depth of heartbreak I feel. Forest was an angel, kind and self sacrificing, generous in word and deed, he set aside months of his own drawing time to help raise money for trans friends in need. He was always wishing he could give more to others in terms of time, wishing he could give more to those who supported his art, wanting to make the world a better place, educating others on consent and advocating for safe spaces. He was a pillar of the community he helped build and I have been honored and humbled to call Forest my friend. Those who knew him had the pleasure of knowing true kindness, his appreciation and encouragement of all around him, his ability to make others smile and laugh, sharing stories and jokes and memories with so many who loved him and his work. Beyond anything that he created, he grew a community full of people who followed in his footsteps, picking up on the traits of kindness, humor, care, supportiveness and patience. I love you Forest, I thank whatever luck or fate brought you into my life and changed me forever.
