I've a friend who has decided to remain on good terms with someone who has done something unspeakable to me. I do not want to get into the grisly details.
I have tried my best to be kind to them, to give them time to break off their friendship with this other, horrible person, but they refuse, stating that I just cannot "handle" the fact that they don't have to be friends with "only the people I approve of"?
What should I do?
