So I guess I should flesh out my 'sona with some historical info.

I only attempt to do this now because of an RP room I was in. I made the mistake of pulling out a rare real-world item so that I wouldn't get caught in a "bigger cock" war with someone. Someone called me out on it and basically ridiculed me. I tried to keep it in character, but the person kept insisting that I was full of it, that I couldn't possibly own that item. I stayed in character, but I got really defensive.

Q: what do you do, as an rp'er, when someone tries to destroy the fantasy atmosphere of a scene by crying at your "lack of imagination"?

I realize now I should have just not gone the real-world route, partly because it showed I was being lazy and just googled something on the internet, and instead gone through with the "I can piss farther than you" spiral.

It was definitely my fault, but could the other poster tried to be less of a dick and maybe pm'ed me with his complaint instead of trying to embarrass me and ruining the RP atmosphere?

Oh, when I took the final role of the victim, and blamed him for my bad memories, he huffed and left the room. Weird. I guess bullying someone who isn't conceding to their views of fantasy isn't fun for people?

So, yeah, I'm gonna come up with a few super long and boring histories for my fursona so I can have something to point to and say, "I wrote it down, so it's 'real' ."

I'll have a general play character, who looks, acts, talks like I do (making it easier to do sexy times). Then I'll have a modern day bushido-ka, who was raised and trained by a master of iaido, kenpo, etc, and proscribes to Buddhism. Ha! Then... what? I don't know. I'm sure I'll come up with some others.
