Hey y’all,

I wanted to make a quick post apologizing for my absence as of late, both publicly and privately. I know I pretty much disappeared for a while there and I left a lot of people on read/didn’t reach out. I also haven’t kept up with art for a bit. Here’s why:

I am studying to become an Occupational Therapist, and I just had my first 12 week internship at a hospital. Basically, you go from having no experience to being expected to be an entry level clinician in 12 weeks. You’re also watched and critiqued at all moments for the entire experience. It’s hard work, and it’s probably the most stressful 12 weeks I’ve ever experienced. I had a tough location and a very strict instructor.

Every day I would wake up, work, come home, study, sleep, and repeat. I even worked weekends on occasion. In the middle of this, I also had to move. I became so stressed I often skipped meals, so keeping up with art and stuff became too much to ask.

As of today, my internship has completed and I passed! I apologize to all of my friends for basically ignoring most of you for months. I’ll be getting back to doing art more consistently ASAP. To my commissioners, this is why I don’t take payment upfront lol. I’ll be working on finishing my queue soon as well.

I’ve missed you guys and am excited to be back!
