tl;dr
This is a group mainly for people who like parasites, but also for those who like other kinds of symbionts.
"Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship between organisms of different species where one organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other, the host." ~Wiki
This group may contain some mature and adult material, including /really weird/ mature and adult material. If you have your filter on, know that some may show up unblocked in the journals or as links to elsewhere.
Details
This is a group for those who love parasites, have a parasite character, a host character, or a character who is a composite of host and parasite.
It will primarily focus on parasites (and parasitoids), however:
Also welcome are other symbionts including those in mutualistic and commensal relationships (especially where one lives inside the other), and any other type of being that might be confused for a parasite or has blurry classification either scientifically or in the common perception.
Fictional or real species both welcome.
It doesn't matter if you are an animal, plant, protist or whatever, so long as you somehow fit under or have an interest in the umbrella above.
Non traditional parasites such as bacteria and viruses are welcome. And if you would be as abstract as a genetic parasite, also welcome. :D
Apart from the biological definition of parasite, things relating to symbolism and artistic interpretations of the term are also welcome.
