So for this first journal, let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a 19 year old young lady born and raised in Toronto, Canada. I was always a very anxious child and turned to art to express myself. I started really getting into drawing when I was 11. Also the same time I fell in love with anime. So anime art became my medium. I was initially inspired by the infamousNaruto and Inuyasha.. As I got older I was influenced by other anime such as Soul Eater and the american animation Avatar: The last airbender/ Legend of Korra. I really love Atsushis style for the SE Manga, and Ryuus style for ATLA/LOK character design. I also have a great fondness for Ghibli movies and their pefect balance of storyline and animation. I'm hoping to enter the animation field one day.

I was never really interested in drawing furries until I saw Wolf Children: Ame & Yuki.( I plan to do some fanart of that) It's new and different for me. Like a breath of fresh air. New inspiration and ideas. Of course im playing it a bit safe and doing only anthros for now. I hope to be able to do more animal-ish anatomy in the future but baby steps xD
