Short answer: School... (and some big stuff!)

I have kind of dropped uploading the last few weeks, and have basically completely stopped practices. This is mostly because school ramped up from decently easy labwork, to most classes releasing several hour-long assignments instead, which has really eaten up my time. Fun fact: I have not been attending most of my classes, and I still don't have a lot of free time! A lot of the professors teach slowly, so I've been going through the material on my own (in half the time maximum ><), and yet I still lack time. I would love to continue complaining about my terrible college, but that isn't the reason I wanted to make this journal :D

I do plan to get back to practices sometime soon, but most of the reason I stopped has nothing to do with not writing! I have been working on a big project, which has been very fun! It is going to be an introduction to a cast of five characters I've been playing around with in practices, and it has become such a passion project! I've really enjoyed working with these characters more and making them into more developed, interesting people! So much so that it has ballooned to being double my previous longest story (4.5k words)! So obviously, I did not get it done during my break. Surprising myself though, I got really close >< A combination of school and the massive size of the project really slowed down my work, which has predictably made progress very slow. So slow in fact, even when I sit down to write, I can't get the gears turning...

That being said, if you are interested in giving me a proofread before I upload, feel free to contact me! Or, if you think you know who's going to be in the intro story, make a guess :D It is not currently in a state I'd like to show anyone in, but should hopefully get there, eventually!

But writing isn't all I've done! I've been working on some fun little stuff in Brick Rigs! My favourite of which, being a remaster of a certain car featured in Netic's (me (fictional)) intro! This project has temporarily stolen all my love and attention, and has become my favourite work, even above the houseboat I spent months on! It will feature a mostly detailed engine bay, completely functional doors, hood, trunk, and a much better interior! I will not spoil too much more about it, but rest assured, it is much better than the original in just about every way!
