I've only been "drawing" since 2006 when Herbie Bearclaw encouraged me to trace some dogs and develop my "talent." I did this for a bit until I changed job hours from over night to 2nd shift and my free time was cut down. Also, I felt like I'd fallen into a rut and ran out of ideas. Earlier in 2010, the art bug bit again, and I've been drawing ever since. I have a DA account and finally got this account to spread my crappy "it's dogs" art to furs everywhere.
I'm an Old English Sheepdog, Disney type. I'm serious. You can bet on it. Ask any of the grey muzzles from the old ALF newsgroup. :)
I have been active in this furry world since late 1996. Here's the classic website that details all of my early days and later times too: http://ricdog.us/doghouse/
I'm the producer of the Radiolawn radio show since 1999. (It's a 1/2 hour comedy radio show with occasional furry content.) http://ricdog.us/radiolawn/ It airs LIVE, Sunday Nights at 10:30pm EST on Boomer The Dogs Doggy Radio stream: http://boomerthedog.com/radio/ --Old and New shows air, but NEW shows are streamed here LIVE first.
Also I'm the co-host "Doggy Radio" http://boomerthedog.com/radio/ LIVE! Starting at 11pm EST Sunday Nights
My motto since I found this furry internet deal is "Respect each other's level of involvement." Seems we need a little more of this.
I have two fursuits. Ric O Classic is an oldie, had it since 1994 and was a creation of my own. Then there's RicSheepy, a modified Brokken gift that is a real sheepdog.
BLOG Featuring my "JUNK" drawer and commentary on why I didn't throw it away: http://ricdog.us/htmly/
...or just access all my web debris in a one shot site: http://ricdog.us/index

Hey, I can produce a show with old stuff and write new stuff and produce a show. Yay! Yappy Slyfox is going to run it before his Funday Pawpet Show just before the Rapid T Rabbit show. Yay! A reason to continue producing a show.
27 Years later...
1999 *5* shows produced, but I started the show in October.
2010 *2* shows produced. Yappy started working Sundays and couldn't run my show. I was going to produce it HERE.
2013 *6* shows produced. Web hosting issues. This was my "HBO" season.
(Averaging about 12 shows a year, so one a month through 2020)
2020 *28* shows produced. It was the Pansamatic. What else did I have to do. It's my record year.
2025 *22* shows produced. A year of change, a year of creative blah blah blah.
I've already got one this year and I'm working on the second but the reason I bring this up is I've been careful to not recycle what was in old Radiolawn shows for new Radiolawn shows for fear of sounding like the 70's episodes of Three's Company hosted by Lucille Ball or the horrible episode of Star Trek The Next Generation where Number Hwaun hallucinates through the first season.
But, Gush Limbarge's son..I generally did not remember his name. I got off my duff and finally compiled ALL of the descriptions I had of every episode. (Yes, I saved every website I published..) I found the answer! So I'm going to do the first "clip show" using old Radiolawns. Does this mean we jumped the shark? Only if that shark was wearing a costume and was in the NJM commercial and gets sprayed by a fire hydrant. Look it up. Look it up.
Radiolawn airs new and old episodes at 10:30 EST Sunday on Boomer's Doggy Radio stream. http://boomerthedog.com/radio/
