i wish there was a species category for slugs (G)

how do you get a species category added? is it possible, and is contacting support the avenue or is there a better one?
• right now, slug uploads are generally split between "snails" or "insect (other)", which sucks for slug fans
• but you could at least rename snails to slugs/snails, or gastropods, so they're all in one place
• plenty of other similar species get split up; there are presently categories for both "bee" and "honeybee/bumblebee" (and "wasp"), which brings "bee" down to all the other species that people don't think about. which is good for them, but it is SO specific.
• while we're at it, slugcats could be added to the games/media section
