If I owe you a commission-NOTE ME! + UPDATES (G)
2 months agoI have a few people I know I still need to catch up with but I'd love to get a proper list together. I want to still refund everyone I can and have been trying to reach people even if I forget things. I genuinely want to make things right and not leave anyone hanging.
I have officially stopped doing commissions all together. I always took them to make up for the fact that my money would constantly be stolen by a family member and I would get in over my head, burn out, and the cycle would repeat. I've spent the last year in therapy for PTSD, bad coping mechanisms, and getting away from spaces where people intentionally made it worse to use me for artwork/connections/money. I even detransitioned medically for a period to see if being in a fully neutral state helped these mental/health issues. (Which, funny enough, it turned out a lot of them were made worse because I'm severely celiac and it was causing massive brain inflammation! It's wild how much of a difference going gluten-free made for that and I'm going to be doing more followups with a neurologist now that follow-ups with the mental programs I was in are done and I have a nice clean bill of "you don't actually have these issues you came here for, you're just a sped with fucked up parents whose brain was being literally cooked inside your skull").
I'm not fit to take commissions anytime soon and I don't think I'll ever reopen. Please contact me if I forgot about you. I want to make things right.
I also got married! The anniversary is on my profile now. We just did the ol' getting an officiant to sign papers, no point in doing a ceremony when we both don't really care about that.
