Uhhhhh... Little Help?

Okay, so here's the jist of it.... i have a great desire to draw and be artistic, but i have absolutely no idea how to get any better. i feel like i should be contributing to the world of art somehow so, if any of you have suggestions on how i might practice, or any tutorials i could look at, please just let me know.
