Mew Dragon ( My closed species )
Physical Appearance: Soft fur, large furry ears, large fluffy otter/kangarooish tail - can be balanced on, feathered wings, a horizontal pouch on the tummy, a short rounded muzzle that often gives a chibi appearance even when an adult, iridescent horns on head, and feline-like paws with retractable claws. The coat generally has a spotted pattern.
Mew Dragons are often called the Dragons of Innocence because they take so long to age. The majority of the life span is in the toddler stage. They are a rare species due to this fact. Many other species adopt Mew Dragons as it is much like having a baby that never grows up. Mew Dragons have special abilities, as most dragons do, but it is unknown exactly what they are capable of. Like most dragons, they tend to hoard their favorite items.
My fursona's name is Kayla Dreamer, sometimes known as Sharaye, and in age she is about the equivalent of a 1 1/2 year old human child. She is curious, playful and loving, however she tends to be quite shy. She loves to hide, especially in any pouch-like object. She cannot fly, nor use any 'dragon' powers other than managing a bubble or two. Her particular hoard is plushies. She loves to pile them up and sleep ontop or in the middle of them. It is hard for her to decide on a single favorite, so she tends to have a few at a time in tow. ( This character likes to RP )

Slight Delay on Beach Party YCH!

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to give you an update on the YCH. I usually try to get my art out as soon as I possibly can, but there have been a few delays. I lost a pet rat, my uncle went into the hospital and needs a double lung transplant, so this delayed a visit from my parents. I can't really work on cub art while they are visiting, I dont want have to explain all those crinkles...
But we will be out of town until Wednesday, but after that I can get back to arting and *should* have the picture completed by Next weekend. I apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
All of the characters are flat colored and most have some shading, so it's mostly fully shading 3 characters, shading for the wading pool, and some background touches. So even with a crazy work schedule, this should be wrapping up quite soon!
