I am SilkySecrets, a traditional & digital artist previously known as 'gamblefur' (now deactivated), which I consider my old retired startup account back when I set my first steps out in the creative public art domain of the furry fandom. A lot of my work from that account is still visible on e621.net if you want to check. I've been taking a break from the fandom for a while and have been refining my art process behind the scenes during this time. This account is a reinvention of myself as a furry artist now that I'm more sure about my own skill and style as well why and what I want to draw.

The human: My name is Richard, I am a fur from the Netherlands at the 'greymuzzle age' of 39 and I have been exploring different corners of the fandom for the past 24 years. The fandom and interacting with it has probably played the biggest role in what direction my life has turned to. I am a self-taught hobby artist. I dabble in various art and fursuit crafts, though most of it remains personal or shared to my circle of friends with the intend to go more public over time again.

I am married to We met the year Zootopia came out in the cinema, and we got married the year Zootopia 2 came out in the cinema.

The sonas: My two sergals are my sonas, Blue and Sugo, whereas I own a few others for personal art stuff. Blue is my first sona, the character I focused on with my old FA account, Sugo is the newer one, born in tandem with this account, both which have come into existence to symbolize the growth I've made as a person, as an artist, and as a proud member of the furry community. Sugo is, just like my art and new account, a more fleshed out, perhaps more experienced version of myself when it comes to my place in the fandom, whereas Blue was created early, for the sake of just having a sona when I started hanging around with other furs in the first few years. He's as much a creation of the people I interacted with then, as he is mine, eventually solidifying my choice of presenting myself as a sergal.
