Hi! The name's Owen.
I'm an Alaskan shepherd who's pretty good with his paws!
You might know me from my old account,

I'm a crafter! I make fursuits, fursuit parts, fursuit starter kits, and all sorts of drawing stuff!
If you'd like a quote for a commission, note me! I'm not open for anything fursuit-related at the moment,
but I'm always happy to name a price for you :)
If you want to see WIPs and all sorts of other good stuff, find my Instagram page, Silverfang_Fluffball!

FA Activity and Small FAQ
Heya, guys!
So I'm pretty sure y'all all know I'm not very active on FA. I'm HOPING this will change sometime soon, because the Instagram furry community is starting get on my nerves, and lately, I've had a lot of people comment on some things I have for sale and say they're gonna buy it and then back out at the end. It's just not a good way to run a business.
I have almost 4K followers on there, and not even 100 here (I don't think? I haven't checked) and I'm not complaining, I'm just staring that it's kinda why I'm not as active on here--I feel like it's a little harder for me to be seen, and I really want to become a more active community member like I once was.
So, as I said before, I will HOPEFULLY, in the near future, be trying to become more active. The only issue with that is that I don't have much computer access, and FA doesn't have an app that I know of similar to Instagram where it's easy to post things and reply to comments and such. I've got a short attention span XD
Anyways, here's a quick FAQ to anyone who's wondering:
Q: Are you open for commissions?
A: No. I am currently taking a commission break because I've got to work on scholarship applications and other college stuff.
Q: When will your commissions be open?
A: I'm not really sure, but I'm aiming to open them shortly after Furry Fiesta, the second weekend in March of this year. I'm beginning to get overwhelmed by school, and I always feel horrible when my turnaround time takes too long, because I want my customer to get their commission pretty quickly, and I'm not able to do that right now.
Q: How much is a finished fursuit head?
A: I haven't priced those yet, but I'm thinking the STARTING price will be between 300-400. I'm not as experienced as other makers, but my quality is better than some people who are selling for 300 right now. So while I don't want the price to be too high for my work experience level, I also don't want to sell myself short, because I slave over every suit I make and pour hours of love, work, and perfectionism into every single fursuit part I make.
Q: Can you make ___ species?
A: Yes. I've made lots of different species so far, and haven't had any trouble with them. I enjoy making different animals, because making canines and cats and DADs over and over gets a little redundant. Not that I don't enjoy it, but it's fun to prove that I can bend my style to fit interesting animals in!
Species I have made before:
-bird
-canine
-domestic cat
-opossum
-bat
-Dutch angel dragon
I can also make a variety of expressions, from happy, to grumpy, to pissed off, to tired.
Q: Do you have a website/price sheet?
A: No. I don't currently make enough money off of this to make a website and I don't know of any good free tools to use. I am also not tech savoy whatsoever, but it is something id like to have eventually! As for the price sheet, I haven't gotten to making one yet because I haven't priced most of the fursuit parts that I can make.
The only price I've established so far is fursuit head bases which START at $85 and go up based on complexity and other things such as eyes coming installed, mouth lined, jawset installed, etc.
Hopefully that answers a few things! I haven't been asked a TON of questions, but this should answer some of the more common ones I've gotten!
