I'm Silvershock, and I make things with computers. I'm a programmer by trade & hobby, and I also like to write stories (very slowly). I've been known to staff conventions when people aren't looking, too!

Coding

I'm a coder by trade. I've done a bit of everything down the years, but currently my day job has me building Angular applications, and my hobby work keeps me coding in a variety of languages.

Convention Staffing

I've done various staff positions at various cons, mostly BronyCAN (where I've been everything from the registration guy to the chairman) and Vancoufur, where I've most recently been responsible for upgrading the website.

Drawing Silvershock

From time to time artist chums of mine ask if they can draw me (well, sometimes they ask ;-) ). I'm absolutely fine with that, even if it's adult artwork, but I do have a few caveats:

1. I'm only ever a rat. I don't want a pony/fox/hybrid version of Silvershock. There are personal reasons I chose the species.
2. I'm not portrayed doing anything out of character. I know that's hard to quantify, so feel free to send me a note if you're unsure.
