In rl I am a bit of a country hick. I kick back to classic country and dress in a cowboy hat and boots. (unless I am at work). I am not much into modern things. I wish the world would slow down a bit. I happen to think my view of things is a bit weird considering where I am from. I grew up back east in Jersey. Far from anything country. I am not sure they even had rodeo there. (In more recent years the PBR has been playing in NYC). I wasn't always into this stuff. (I actually though cowboys were funny looking). Jersey sucked and I was a very uncool kid. The only cool part was I had turned biker my 8th grade yr (mom would bring me to school on a harley) Luck would have it that we moved west when I was 16. It took some time for the country thing to kick in. I stayed biker for a few yrs. I started drawing furries at about 17. My brother is the long time fur Kumba ( better known as Tek Dragon now) I found stuff in his room that I was prob to young to see at the time. It was all very interesting, so I made up my own anthro chars. My first anthro art was fueled by my love of the disney show gargoyles. I am not sure what spurrred Blaze into existance though. I created her as my fursona in about 98. Things went pretty wild from there. (I think I lost track of the country thing so meanwhile....) I pretty much always liked country music. I am not really into modern country though. I think the current artist have lost sight of what it really is. I turned full country when I dated my first cowboy (cowboy I suppose, but not how I deffine it today). He taught me how to line dance and two step. (Yah I still suck at it, but I can sure Cha Cha.) He was into bullriding, so I started going to rodeos. Over time I really developed an apprecition for rodeo bulls. They are amazing athletes. I really got into PBR and bull riding when I was in college at CSU. I have a dream of someday raising rodeo bulls. In 2006 I tryed my hand at bull riding. I suck but it sure was cool! Last year I also moved to Alaska. There isn't alot of country stuff where I am though. Still get good classic country from sirius!. I do miss PBR and real rodeos. Cowboys here are kinda lame. (okay so back to the furry thing). During all that image establishing time I kept at my furry art. I created a bunch o stories to go with my fursona. Since the start in 98 she has devloped into something I am not. Recently I have divided her into two separate chars. They have thier fur pattern in common. I am pretty amused by my own imagination so I love to draw stuff of Blaze's family. I am not much for computer know how so I tend to stick with colored pencils. I do have some websties, but I am not winning any awards. SOmewhere during all this I also started getting into anime. I use to go to Non Desu Kon. (until I moved away from Denver anyway). (A few anime I like are; Dragon ball Z, Naruto, Ah My Godess, Full Metal, Inuyasha, Those Who Hunter Elves, Sorcerer Hunters, Card Captors, Trigun Ranma 1/2 and a bunch of older ones. ( I don't care much for Evangalion, and Ghost In the Shell) Now a days I am into anime, rodeo, furries, country, kickin back, and enjoying the wonders of life.
