Howdy! I’m Skekiyap, a crafty coyote alternate account of another artist on here. I’ve been in the fandom for a very long time, but haven’t had the chance to create an account until recently.

My character, Skekiyap, takes on a few traits of myself. The rustic-red coyote is energetic and a bit too curious and overconfident for his own good. The name is derived from the Halq'eméylem word for Coyote, “Sk'ek'iyáp”, a language spoken by a small handful of Sto:lo tribes in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia where I live.

A large portion of the art you’ll find on here is my clean, experimental stuff, and tends to fall into the realm of spiritual-themed and whimsical. I’m a huge nature nut and take a ton of inspiration from the BC coast when I’m hiking or biking.
