Hey, welcome to the page!
I'll bet you clicked on a picture of the studio's work, or got the link to this page from someone, and are wondering what all this is about. Well, put simply, the images you see in the gallery below are of work that I for others, like you.
Say you have a piece of art that you want to display in your home, but don't want to (or can't) get it printed and framed. Maybe just slapping it on a piece of photo paper just isn't good enough for a piece that's earned a special place in your heart. Maybe you're wanting to give that picture to a friend, but want it to be something truly unique. Maybe you just want something different. Anyway you slice it, paper and ink just won't do it justice, but you really want to show it off. What do you do?
Have you ever thought about getting it laser engraved?
If you haven't, but are now, I can help.
My name is Casey, and with a half decade of personal C.N.C. experience in the aerospace industry, I can work with you to bring any image to life in a way that no one else can. Using the latest in C.N.C laser equipment, Syco Fox Studios is equipped to provide the highest quality possible to ensure that the image you want displayed will look exactly the way you want it to.
Now I can hear the question being raised, "Can't I just do this myself?" Well, yes. I won't argue that, but let me ask you this; is doing your own laser etching worth the cost? To do a laser etching, you need a machine that can do it. A typical in home system, such as the one I use, typically costs between 500 and 15,000 dollars depending on brand, size, and any additional functions. Then, if you've justified the print being that important, you'll need to invest the time into learning how to use the machine, and the software it comes with; this can sometimes take weeks or even months of frustration and failure to perfect.
Would you go through all that for one print? What if you're not happy with it? What's worse is that some material can't even be salvaged if the print fails! With buying the machine, learning to use it, and possibly spending hundreds of dollars on material to get just one display worthy print, by the time you got the print made I could imagine you'd be questioning whether it was ever worth it in the first place! So that's where I come in.
My mother owns a small gifts and collectables business called Memories-4-Ever. While teaching her to use the machine that she bought for her business, not only did I learn how to use it as well, I came across the idea to offer the service of laser etching art onto various materials for those in the furry community that would like to display physical versions of their art. Thus Syco Fox Studios was born.
Having spent more than half my life in the furry fandom I can attest to the seemingly limitless amount of creativity that artists in this community have, and I can understand just as well the frustration and irritation that you might feel about how most of your creations just seem to simply live on your computer's hard drive. What I do is take those beloved images, that you've either worked on for days or weeks on end, or have paid hundreds of dollars to see finally come to fruition, and laser etch them into various materials to either be hung or otherwise displayed anywhere in your house.
Because of my experience in the aerospace industry, I take an immense amount of pride in the quality of my work, and at every step of the way I'll work with you to ensure that the piece you get does justice to the image you want printed. I don't settle for second best, and I'm sure you wouldn't want to either, so if you'd like to see any of your work in a way you probably never thought possible until now, and want it to be done to a standard that you would be proud of, be sure to message me today to see what I can do for you!
P.S. Here's something else you might find interesting; I also do creative writing and--to a lesser extent--copywriting (like what you just read.) If you're in need of character descriptions but either don't have money or an accurate description of your character, or you would like a short story or vignette for an image, that's professionally written and edited, you can find what you need on my writing page: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/jessie-wolfe/
I look forward to hearing your ideas soon!
Cheers,
Casey.

All Settled (Thankfully)

Hey all,
Well that was a hell of a lot easier than expected, I'm just slow moving...
So what happened? Well, in truth with the work I'm doing on my property to clean up more than a decade of neglect I've been insanely busy and largely unable to make any real headway on developing SFS as a business. I mean, I'm not making excuses; 11 years of accumulated dead/fallen trees, derelict buildings, severe overgrowth, and storm damage on five acres of land takes a long time to work through for just two people, so I've been busy o.o
Anyway, the reason I shut down the store for the last few months is due to the financial issues I'm trying to work through in ensuring my recurring bill load doesn't exceed 750$ (which is what I was able to get it down to before quitting my job two years ago) I found that one of the things I was losing money on hand over fist was the registered agent service I'm required by law to have in order to operate an LLC.
Over a number of calls, and a royal run-around by people who were supposed to know how to help, I was able to get the paperwork filled out and sent in to make myself the registered agent, saving around 350$ a year over the 3rd party service that I was going through. This was the last major waste that I had in terms of my monthly expenditures, so I should be in a much better situation moving forward.
In the interest of time, as I have more clean up to do today (since the weather's good) I'll keep this post short, but everything is settled, and I am open for new laser etching orders if/when they come in, and hopefully soon I'll have the time to start making/posting new stuff for y'all to see. Right now I can't guarantee that I will be able to post new stuff soon, but I definitely have a lot of chain mail jewelry made and ready to sell, and plenty of material and supplies for paintings (if I can ever get around to that.) Also, I recently hit the half way point in the manuscript for my first book, so as soon as I can afford to get the thing edited and get the art done for two versions of the book (there will be a special edition but I'm not giving away spoilers, there's still a very long way to go) I'll start plugging that here as well.
Anyway, everything's settled out now, and I should be back to business as usual,
Thanks for being patient!
