Yeah, I don't really update this FA thing often enough. But the recent Megaplex 10 Retro Arcade Furcon is enough to drag me out of my shell.

Have to admit, I missed the first day. But I think the craziness that happened the next two days more than made up for that.

First off, PONIES. I was amused at the mixed atmosphere towards ponydom at the con, with various posters placed around for either pro *Rainbow Dash DEAL WITH IT* or con *Say Nony to Brony.* I had only a PSP to take pictures with, but I got plenty of shots of them.

I managed to find myself in rather strange situations. When the CARE Foundation's Charity Auction came around, I bidded on a rather auspicious item... Badge Number 1, for next year's Megaplex, which is usually reserved for the Chairman himself, K.P. I was not expecting to win it. Steampunk con, here I come!

At another point, I got myself locked in the main event room along with  emeraldvioxx and some friends, while singer and musician extraordinaire Matthew Ebel, AKA  Hali began setting up for his number. One of the songs he rehearsed, 'I Wish I Was' turned out to be only the second time he'd ever rehearsed the piece. I feel quite honored now to have heard it. It was still great when he fully premiered it during his concert that night.

The next day began with a cupcake. *Edit, got her FA, thanks Star!  amethystthedragon * She makes the most amazing chocolate dragons and cupcakes I've ever tasted. And she had PONY CUPCAKES. *Not made from real ponies, thank you.* They were colored frosting with toy rings bearing the character faces. I got an Applejack, cause AJ is best pony.

Later, I caught the live Funday Pawpet Show, which was just as much a joy to watch this year as it was last year. There was much games, fun, and laughs to be had. Uncle Kage's creepy stalker story made me doubly appreciate the new security measures implement at the con this year.

Towards the show's end, they had a bunch of autographed Pawpet Show Posters to hand out. Which they did so with a game, they called 'What's in your pocket?' If you had a named item on your person, you walked up, presented it, and got your poster.

The items named were many and varied. "Does anyone have any piece of wire?' "Does anybody have an Ipad?' 'Does anybody have the Pacman App?' "Does anybody have anything My Little Pony?'

At that last one, I remembered I still had the plastic toy ring from the Applejack cupcake in my pocket. In my haste to hurry to the front, I tripped on a chair.

I am probably forever now labeled The Suicidal Brony Guy.

Still got my poster, though Uncle Kage gave me a run for my money.

I had a good time regardless. The retro Pinball machines were awesome, and I got to meet  DragonMelde , which I realize now I mispronounced when I said it. Sorry Melde! I also got to meet the amazing cookie dragon  starallon , whom I'll definitely be following!

On a final note, if the lady behind Miss Cynder happens to read this, wanna say it was one of the higher points of my day to make a dragon lady happy with a picture. ^^
