Hello, I'm Kage the Wolfix. No relation to Uncle Kage I'm afraid. I actually chose the name because I've been using the name Kage (or Shadow, which is what Kage translates to) for animal characters for as long as I can remember. My Wolfix is by far my favorite application of the name.
I've run into some anti-furry people in the past but it honestly doesn't bother me that much. I argue my point to a degree, but some people are just... stupid.
Anyways, I'd prefer you just to get to know me rather than explaining my ups and downs. I'm proud to be here at FA. I'll probably be posting up both furry and non-furry stories alike.
I'm open to any kind of trades or gift art. In fact, I'm looking for some people to draw me some art for some other characters, as well as of my own fursona.
My current list of Furry/Fur-Affiliated characters is...
Kage Enko, the Artistic Wolfix. This is my fursona, and the personality that most closely resembles the artistic and borderline hedonistic side of my personality. He enjoys an intelligent conversation and good yiff, and it's even better for him when he can get both from the same person. He wants love, but isn't obsessed with attaining it. He has deep red hair with matching eyes that seem to gaze straight through reality into what could be. His beak is sharp and hooked, much like a hawk's. His fur is cream-white with red, fire-patterned markings dotted across his fur. On his back, he sports a moderate wingspan which also sports his fiery patterning, though are typically folded against his back. He has humanoid hands, legs, and feet, though all three are covered in fur. His tail is soft and bushy, but not exactly short. The character may or may not have claws depending on the setting he's being depicted in. If depicted as a human, Kage is most often ginger with a distinct smile and a lithe build.
Martin Kampfer, the Noble Wetboy. He is an assassin, although he prefers the term "wetboy" as he believes that "assassin" sounds to amateurish. He is a Count's son, and lived relatively peacefully until he was ten. At that point, someone attempted a coup on his family, and he was saved because he was playing hide-and-seek with his sister. He adapted well to the streets, and eventually managed to find a job working some mediocre job (depends on the time period he's set it) for barely enough money to live on. From there, a certain series of events (again, depending on the time-frame that the story featuring him is set in) lead to him becoming a killer-for-hire. By the time he matures, he runs an entire network of wetwork, although he typically still does most of the killing himself. Martin's build is almost perfect for an assassin. He has black and grey fur that covers his entire body. The only things that stand out in the night are his golden-blond hair (which he ties back and covers with a hood) and his blue eyes. Since this character more appeals to fantasy-type stories, he generally has some sort of magical abilities that assist his sneaking and killing. Like Kage, he has humanoid hands. Unlike Kage, Martin is always depicted with retractable claws. If depicted as a human, Martin is a black man with striking blonde hair, and often a beard.
Mikami Tsukishiro, the Lunar Husky. This character is actually a Werehusky, and not an anthropomorphic husky. His human form is white, has white/grey hair, and is generally a very pious and vageuly religious character. Due to a mistake that cost him the love of someone he cared about immensely, he strives every day of his life to redeem himself, not necessarily in her eyes, but in the eyes of the Divines and the universe itself. His Were form is... well, a Werehusky. The one he lost was Lilith Kithren. Of any of the various (now deleted) short stories that I've ever written which feature him, Mikami usually dies in most of them.
Teg Branford, the Black Dragon. Yes, that is the initials for TheEvilGood. This character was largely inspired by Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. I loved that movie, even if it was technically for kids (as furries, we can't very well complain about immaturity). He is an anthropomorphic dragon with black scales and magnificent purple eyes. He has an assortment of small horns arranged on his scalp, which are dwarfed by two larger horns which curve back over the top of his head, and stop just before they come perpendicular to his neck. From his back comes a pair of wings which match his scales, and are tipped by claw-like spikes at the bend in the wing. His tail sways behind him, with a line of spikes running along the the length of the tail until they come to the tip. The underside of his tail, however, is smooth, and generally very cuddly. Teg is generally playful and boisterous, although he's developed a habit of being brutally honest sometimes. And, as 2 Gryphon once said about all dragons, Teg "could look perfectly at home slaughtering villagers once second, and wearing a smoking jacket the next." (that quote's not his exact words). He can be "both debonair and vicious." If I had to make a comparison, I'd say that he's got the scales of Toothless (HTTYD), with the horns of an Argonian (Elder Scrolls), the wing design of Bahamut (Final Fantasy IX), and a cross between the tails of Ridley (Metroid) and Godzilla. Like Martin, if depicted as a human, he is typically a black man (darker in complexion than Martin) with a bald head and bright blue (or purple) eyes.
I've also played around with various character genealogies. This has resulted in the creation of a few offshoot characters related to the above. The most prominent of these are Kasai Enko (Kage's sister) and Sapphira Branford (Teg's disowned daughter).
Okay, as far as stuff the real me likes. I enjoy video games (who doesn't?) and pretty much anything that will preoccupy my time. I'm a hopeless romantic, so you'll probably see it come out a lot in my stories.
