I have two very different personas. The first is cheerful, sweet, gentle, and extremely silly. She's the mouse. The second largely comes out around my pet - warm, stable, gentle, and extremely, fiercely possessive and protective. She's the wolf. Most people know the mouse - very few of the people who have met the wolf are happy to have done so.... my fox being one of the only exceptions, since we don't take our dynamic out in public.
That aside - I'm a pediatric nurse. :3 I love kids, especially the kinds of kids who need my care, because they're frequently the most amazing people you'll ever meet.
I'm not sure what else to say here except that only my furry art will be here - most of it will be on my DA. I do drawing, painting, chainmaille, poetry, prose, the occasional photomanipulation, and even the odd bit of knitting. Go take a look if you like. :)

Working on my first real reference sheet...

Reference sheets are HARD. My character is actually fairly simple (white wolf, no markings, only two accessories - three if you count the hair beads. Okay. Three.) and I'm having a hard time.
Ears are hard to get perfect. It turns out? Arctic wolves have REALLY FLUFFY EARS. Seriously. The insides of their ears are like solid fluff. I spent a good half an hour playing with the fluff on ONE ear.
The paws? They're fluffy too. I haven't even touched that yet.
The black markings around the eyes are neat, but I'm having a hard time with them. Hmm. And they all have them, so there's no getting out of this.
Taking surprisingly few artistic liberties, though I did go with larger ears than is perhaps correct for an arctic wolf (theirs are smallish and rounded) and I think I'm going to cheat and not make the paws uber-fluffy.
Talk about doing things the hard way... I really don't know how to draw fluff.... so I decided on an *arctic wolf*.
