Hey, everyone!! Hope you're all having a great night. Realized I haven't posted anything here for a long time so I thought I'd let people know how I've been. It's gonna be a loooong journal, but if you read the first sentence of each bullet point, you'll get the gist of it.

- First of all, I recently got a new Graphic Design job closer to where I live with MUCH better pay. It's nice to see my hard work paying off between 2 years of college and having low paying jobs since graduation. ;; Business has been slow, but they said it's typical for the summer months. I hope I can eventually bring in some headphones to help with my focus and combat the quiet.

- Mika (my corgi) was diagnosed with some type of liver disease back in May. The doctors don't know exactly what is wrong unless we were to do a liver biopsy, which may cost around $3,000 - $5,000. The news really sent me in a downward spiral and I suffered through a bad depression for awhile. Luckily, my vet is amazing and has been working with specialists to put Mika on a new diet and daily meds, which have DRASTICALLY improved his condition! He's also acting happy and healthy, so that's made me feel WORLDS better. The money from my new job helps me cover the costs of his new lifestyle and I'm doing my best to stay positive!

- Last month, I was in a car accident. I came out with minor injuries, but my car wasn't so lucky. The money I got from the junkyard covered my ticket and towing bills - so that was a relief. After doing some research, I decided to take out a new loan on a 2015 Toyota Corolla, which has been a life saver in gas millage! This car will pretty much pay for itself....eventually. :,D

- My dad is selling his house. He's had it for about 11 years (bought it after my parent's divorced), so it'll be sad to say goodbye. We have a ton of memories there and I still go visit him about once a month to hang out. Him and my step-mom plan on building their dream home on a patch of land they bought a few years back, but in the meantime, they'll be renting a house.

- New friends!! I finally decided to join some different chat groups online with people who have similar interests and it's been amazing so far! :D It's so nice to have people that I can geek out with about my current obsessions. It's really been filling that lonely feeling I've had for awhile. Also - made some great friends since I've opened my Twitter account! Hope to get to know them better over time. ^^

- Old friends! I have different friend groups for each part of my life and there's never really been any overlap. However - I did try mixing things up with my birthday party, and it went great! I'm really lucky to have the friends I do. Big shoutout to those who have stuck with me this year, despite all of my lows. BIG thanks to & for cheering me up with our sleepovers, art trades, deep conversations, and daily positivity! I couldn't have pulled through without you guys. <3 My life is SO much better with you two in it.

That's about all! I'm gonna try to upload my main pieces of art from this last year onto FA, so sorry if you see a lot at once. ^^' I'll also make a journal about future cons and such (FM coming up soon!!). Anyway - peace out!
