Sadly, I'm no artist. But I know a lot of great ones, and many of them post their work here <you know who you are ;) >. I choose to spend my time slinging a bass guitar around, that is, when I'm not cooking up smutty stories. With any luck, I'll sucker some decent illustrators , the aforementioned or others, to depict the characters I write about. I'm generally a pretty chatty person, so if you're bored, you're welcome to bother me on aim ^_^

New Job!
Finally started my new job (in an actual office, *gasp*), and it's been awesome. The longer drive, however, is wearing me out. Not much time to write, but things are still chugging along. There's plenty floating around on the computer, it just needs to be heavily edited. Here is the little bit that's presentable:
With the recent stress from work, Westley is surprised to find he isn't as excited about the trip to France as he expects. Fine french wines and world-class cuisine certainly have their appeal. And the thought of actually stepping underneath the Arc de Triomphe makes him a little giddy. Yet he can't shake the feeling that he is running away from his problems. He shakes his head to clear his mind.
The more he thinks about the last year, the closer he feels the walls squeezing in. He isn't ever able to identify what precisely is causing him to feel this way. The collapsing economy led to the extra pressure at work, which in turn exacerbated his persistent loneliness. A hyperactive sex drive with no outlet pushes things to just this side of unbearable. Hence the vacation.
He absentmindedly scratches behind his ears, instinctively doing what calms him, and decides to set aside his worries for the chance at some happiness. With bags packed and plane ticket in hand, Westley departs for the airport, ready to begin his vacation; anxious, but hopeful.
