Misses snow & wants snowy Winter | Registered: November 13, 2017 03:03:28 PM
Purification in progress...

Underwear Furry!
Forever mad that they use boxer-briefs as their icon though...
Briefs supremacy!
I love snow and thus Winter, although there's nothing better than snowy Autumn! Fresh snow cover and colourful leaves lying on it... It's a beautiful landscape that I hope I will get to see more often.
Spring is usually meh since there's no snow and if there is any, it's more like slush and mud. But it can have a charm on its own as long as it's rainy and cold enough!
Summer is the so-to-speak depressing time. No snow unless you're lucky enough to live in a subarctic climate, but it's manageable. Just don't give us temperatures that make everyone sweat and also dehydrate, get blinded by the sun and make children & pets fry to death in cars. But everyone knows that the current trend favours heatwaves over coldwaves now, so the situation can get pretty hopeless. Yet we shall never give up! Not to mention I'm pretty sure a lot of people love Summer and/or Spring; well, good for them!

I love everything from 1920s to 1980s! Games set in these periods, movies, music, everything basically! The post-modernist nostalgia is real. Not going to claim that life was somehow better back then... But the aesthetics! The will to live through something we were born too late for! Not to mention it was before global warming started messing our Winters up x3
Or at least not as badly as now...

I LOVE POKÉFURS! They are incredibly hot <3

I am deeply unsatisfied with the current state of the fandom, and the current oversexualisation of it is pretty sickening. I saw some praising it as some sort of a "sexual liberation", but I find it absurd. Most sexual fetishes are simply unacceptable and nothing makes them acceptable, and I find it of utmost importance to build a supportive, moral and civil community, rather than tolerate everyone's kinks.
FurAffinity, as it stands out, may just as well be about sex, and basically a porn site. Porn as a widely available commodity is a huge problem, and it is a source of addiction for many people. Do not underestimate the influence it can have on one's life.
Sex just manages to find its way into everything else, and I can't stress it enough. It becomes a dominant force that hijacks any romantic and affectionate actions. Something as innocent and romantic as cuddling still has the expectation of descending into nudity and sex. Many fetishes are asexual in nature, such as underwear or transformation. And yet there exists this enormous pressure to make them sexual anyway, to include sex in them one way or another. Heck, "Netflix and chill" became an euphemysm for having sex, because inviting someone to watch movies together also somehow has the expectation of being a sex opportunity. Even "slepeing with someone" has the same problem, because you apparently can't share a bed with someone without having sex. And just like that, sex penetrates every corner of the fandom; everything is just dripping with sex, and everyone is expected to accept it. It can't go on like this, and the fandom must go above this and become something else, something better. It deserves better.
I'm increasingly frustrated with the current sexual culture and I'm growing increasingly vary of it; the most glaring example is how long it simply it took to me fully realise and embrace my asexuality, how we're living in this oversexualised world where you're just fully assumed and expected to be sexual and it's hardly accepted to go out of that norm. So I just feel "robbed" of my identity, so many can be convinced that they have to sexual to something, and by the time they realise, it might as well be too later.
Someone could lose their virginity and only then realise that they are asexual, and only then realise that they ended up doing something because everyone else is doing it; and only then this bitter realisation that one is asexual and is just being "tricked" into sex hits, losing so many things that one can never have back, and how sex is sold out as something beautiful and romantic while in reality it can be almost completely devoid of any emotions - it's almost barbaric.
If there exists a relationship between a sexual and an asexual, we see it as perfectly acceptable for the asexual to agree to sex to "appease" their partner, don't we? Yet asking the sexual partner to be celibate for the sake of their asexual partner isn't considered fine at all. That is exactly my point.
I am strictly asexual, I find nudity and genitalia at large to be completely disgusting - if you take all the sexual attraction to it, what is there to it? A worm made out of furrowed skin that spews out white liquid? Jesus.
As such I believe that we desperately need a less sexual society.

If you would like to talk or just say something to me then feel free - we can be friends! I always try to minimize social pressure so don't feel like you're obliged to talk to me for hours if you say something to me. No offense, no awkwardness, no "wow it's rude to just stop talking like that", no nothing really. I'm always trying to NOT be judgmental!
If you happen to love Winter or snow, underwear ( any style, my faves are briefs, trunks and boxer-briefs ), Undertale, Pokemon, Heavy Rain, Mafia series, OFF ( game by Mortis Ghost ) or HOME ( game by late FelixTheJudge ) then feel free to let me know there's another X-lover out there! And if you don't meet these "requirements" then you should talk to me anyway; just keep in mind I don't RP, I am pretty bad at it.

I am a Roman Catholic, and a churchgoing one at that. I find religion incredibly important, and I believe it is this hidden gem that many of us seem to overlook in modern society. There is a concept of anomie - alienation. Anomie is alienation from our community at large, which also causes the breakdown of moral values, of standards, of guidance. The social bonds between and individual and the community disappear, and with it disappers the ability to integrate ourselves within social situations, be it having or forming healthy friendships and relationships. Anomie is exactly what separates the close, rural communities from these large, disorganised urban ones. That kind of alienation.
Now, religion is in fact something that protects us from this anomie. The church provides a great, supportive community that truly makes us feel a part of somethin greater. True freedom is not the purview of the individual. It can be found only within the community—and with the assistance—of the Church.
The church teaches us obligation and mutual dependence - only with the support, cooperation and commitment of the laity can the Catholic Church still function, and it wouldn't have survived without that. The Catholic world is one of reciprocal duties, which is something that we're so desparately missing in the modern world of globalisation, of collapse of traditional communities.
And to atheists who believe that religion has caused harm - it hasn't. If you think Reconquista or the Crusades were caused by religion, think again. Were medieval Europeans really peace-loving peoples who were turned into barbarians by religion? Every war was done to gain either economic or political power, and the Crusades were no exception. Even in an atheist world, medieval Europeans would invade the Middle East, and start all the other wars. Find me an example of a ruler who sacrificed their economic or political power in the name of religion - there is none.
The Catholic Church built the Western society, and let's not forget everything that the Catholic scribes have written down. Lots of pagan and Greek literature was saved by Catholic scriptors, and it's actually astonishing how many of the Ancient Greek texts we've been able to recover - all thanks to them, as well as Muslim scriptors. To this day the church remains the main provider of healthcare and welfare in much of Africa or Asia - something that the secular states haven't been willing to contribute to much.

I am learning German ( C1, fließend ) and Spanish ( A1 still unfortunately ) so if you know these languages, your help will be extremely valuable!
Politics! Well, well, well - already in Beginning Theory: An Introduction to Literary and Cultural Theory, Peter Barry wrote: "Politics is pervasive". I do not fit any political label well and have friends from both left and right, although I am probably slightly radically left but I have some usually right-wing takes here and there!
One strong opinion I have is that LGBT, BLM, Trans Rights etc. movements have noble goals, but they're doing in the wrong way and their efforts go astray because of that. That being said, I DON'T identify with the opponents of these movements - they criticise these movements for absolutely wrong reasons...

My gaming-related "change my mind" hot takes:
Undertale
- Asriel did nothing wrong;
- killing Undyne is actually justifiable ( self-defense );
- it should have been possible to stay with Goat Mom.
Heavy Rain
- Norman has no good endings, but "Case Closed" is the best possible one;
- Ethan is the least likeable playable character (Norman>Madison>Scott>Ethan);
- Norman is the most likeable playable character (I don't think that anyone'd disagree though);
- Blake is worse than the Origami Killer;
- "Ethan's Grave" ending is actually not that bad because Blake and Cpt. Perry get suspended and investigated;
- Kramer, Mad Doc and Mad Jack deserve to get killed, in that order;
- "Origami's Grave" ending is better with Lauren dead; if she's alive then it's about hatred and betrayal, if she's dead then the ending is melancholic and has the "he finally rejoined his brother" ring to it;
- "Mother's Revenge" is the most badass ending of all;
- thus "A New Start", "Dead Heroine", "Case Closed" and "Mother's Revenge" is the best bittersweet set of endings;
- Madison+Ethan & Madison+Norman combinations in the Old Warehouse are better than everyone arriving there.
Mafia II
- the 1945 segment of the game is much better than the 1951 one and not just because of snow;
- there should have been an option to kill Eric;
- Francesca is ungrateful af;
- Joe did nothing wrong.
OFF & HOME

- Pablo did nothing wrong;
- Valerie also did nothing wrong;
- Japhet did nothing wrong either though;
- Pablo's ending is objectively the good one;
- even a broken world is worth saving.
Lastly, I don't think I have any enemies but maybe someone hates me or will hate me in the future and I just want to say that I'm sorry. You're reading this and maybe we had a bad experience in real life, Discord or anywhere else. I don't hate you and please don't hate me - I'm sorry. I really didn't want to hurt anyone, I didn't want to hurt you. Guess I made a terrible decision or did something unbelievably stupid in a fit of anger or any other primary emotion. Don't suffer because of me. If you're feeling down and end up finding my FA account, you can add me. We can talk this out and you can move on. I don't block people. I don't want to cause harm, especially if I'm not aware of the fact I did or am doing something harmful.
Cheers!
