wow, she's perfect ^.^ beautiful color tones, and she's intelectual, very nice. Nothing better then a cup of hot tea and a quiet study session to get the brain going. The bird is cute too, it looks almost exactly like mine ^.^

This was the 1st sketch I did of the four I uploaded last night - it usually takes me a little while to 'warm up' when doing quick work.

I did this at my sister's request - and she really liked the bird, too, which made me happy ^.^

I used to have a cockatiel. He was a mean bastard until the day he died (at age 16 :o). He would waddle over towards the dog, and the dog would get up and scamper away in fear. I am totally unfamiliar with the concept of a bird capable of affection.

I had a mean pet cockatiel, too. The only person he was nice to was my sister... She set him free one day, which I'm sure was a pretty bad idea. She knows better now, though - and she has a cockatiel just like the one in the picture, who is nicer, apparently. They are adorable when they fluff up, though ^.^

The little cockatiel is adorable, and I love her eyes. <3

Interesting furrcoloring - at least i can't remember any pink spotted fur.

As Phiora already mentioned - holding a cup normally with fore and middlefinger leaves way too much place for another 2 or 3 fingers here.

Cockatiels are one of my favourite birds, I have two of my own.

I based the cockatiel on the memory of my family's cockatiel growing up - he used to fluff up and stand on one leg like that... My sister was always his favorite... (she asked me to make a furry rendition of her, and this was what I did) ^.^

Yep, thats how you can tell they are content, and usually they make a little grinding sound with their beak, too :3
My male cockatiel loves me, he sits on my shoulder and dances and sings to me, it's adorable.
Cockatiels don't usually bond to many people, it's normally one or two, mine only bonded to me and my Dad. He tolerates other people but he looooves us.

I love tea and drink various kinds every day =D. I didn't realize just how prevalent it is thematically in my work, but it makes sense ^.^!

Yeah ^^ I also love tea, but usually I drink green, rooibos or yerba mate ^^ So, more pics with tea cuties please :P
