She's shooting at the muzzleflashes in the direction the bullets came from.

It may be hard to make out in the art, trust me in this though, in real life there is no problem making out the muzzle flashed of someone shooting at you.

Kinda nice seeing Eva using her head, not only having disabled the trap that endangered her, but also exposing the trap layer, and disabling the other traps around.

That system had one big problem coming its way if I were on the field of battle. If all those things are linked through a simple switchboard I'd make a small tesla coil and connect it to the wire of one of those disarmed mines. Then I'd send a big jolt destroying the switchboard and very likely setting off all the other mines and posibbly also inflicting anything from pain to injuries to death to the user.

Well I'm not Macguyver I'll give you that but in general those that get sent to a war front tend to know what they'll face. Give me some time in a workshop and I think I'll be able to make a small pocket sized device to do just that.

And on a side note I think you wasted a lot of dynamically charge electrons posting that reply.

I've been on a battlefield or three. I do not recall seeing a workshop anywhere.

It's a risky way to find the command set. But everything on a battlefield is risky. You do the best you can and hope that you make that other poor bastard die for his country before he does it to you.

He can tell what direction the wire is being pulled. Soldiers in battle have fired at less.
