Captain Orangefox and his first mate, One-eyed Sam have been sailing for months, and finally reached their destination--the archipelago of islands known to seafaring folk as the Pirate Islands.
Tired from battling both the British and French Navies, scurvy, and numerous see monsters, the pair of buccaneers needed a break--maybe some milk and cookies? But first they must plant the Jolly Rodger and explore the island a bit. That way, no other pirate would claim this island has his.
Orangefox has redesigned it to his own liking, having a fox skull, so everyone would know who he was right before he plundered their ship.
"TJ," Sam whined, "I'm sick of playing pilates, I wanna go watch TV!"
"It's Captain Orangefox," TJ sighed, "and it's pirates, not pilates--that's what mom does for exercise, and there's no TV on this island! We're going to have to explore Orangefox Island, and check it for treasure."
"There's never any treasure--just a bunch of old junk that people dump in the stream. It's boring. I want to go inside," Sam said as he left.
TJ thought to himself, "Abandoned by my own first mate," then skipped down the trail to go clean up the stream, wondering why people would want to ruin such a beautiful place.

Well, I think it's because I didn't get along with my older brother really well. A lot of times one of my friends would be over, and we'd both be having a really good time playing a game I liked. And then my brother would come along and come up with a new game idea, and my friends would always want to play that. It was always a game that I was bad at, but my brother and my friends would like it, so I would always feel left out and I felt like he ruined everything.
So it's harder for me to sympathize with older brothers, since I felt like as a kid as a younger brother I was more likely to get my feelings hurt. So that's why I can probably relate more to Sam's feelings than TJ's.
On the other hand, I can see how TJ could also feel like Sam is disappointing him and leaving him alone too.
All of that being said, in the picture both of them look very happy like they're having a grand old time! Sam looks particularly excited!

I had that problem with my friends. Two of us would be playing a game, and then another friend would come over, and change whatever game we were playing. And it was always something that I wasn't good at, or if I was good at it, it was determined that I'd be on my own, and they'd be on a team against me. Whichever, I'd wind up losing. Not much fun. (Which is why I always wanted a little brother to boss around.) I can totally see why you'd wind up on Sam's side most of the time.
Both Sam and TJ are good guys, and they love to have friends over. TJ does try to be a good big brother, and would never hurt Sam's feelings on purpose--sometimes Sam and his friends horn in on his plans as well.
TJ and Sam are usually very happy to be brothers, and Sam was having fun until TJ reminded him that they'd be doing the unpleasant task of cleaning the stream. TJ was just trying to turn the unpleasant task into a game.

Oh, and this is somewhat based on a truth.
Behind my house, growing up, there was a drain ditch. The cut was about twenty feet deep, but the water in it was only a few feet deep (with lots of mud and slime at the bottom). People would dump old tires and stuff like that in it, and teenagers would dump shopping carts. During the summer, my friends and I would drag all that stuff out of the water.
