Another recording form my Master's concert, of the supposedly original violin version of BWV 1056, which was also written as a harpsichord concerto which is sometimes played by an oboe. randomonlooker was on the harpsichord and I'm the soloist.
I hope you enjoy it! And pardon my rather romanticised interpretation here - I'm not always a Puritan, but when I am I emigrate to America.

This is awesome! And TWO songs in one day? Gee-willikers, Batman!
This is exactly what I listen to (Or rather, what the hotel staff play over the speakers) everytime I get back from work. The harpsichord has got to be one of my favorite instruments of all time, probably from growing up listening to so many harpsichord-themed tracks on the Castlevania games I played so often when I was younger. It's right up there with the bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy! Speaking of which... have you ever played one a hurdy-gurdy??? D:
But I digress, more or less! This is such a regal sounding song, though I suppose most music from this era sounds like this to the ears of a metalhead, but I think with your help I'm beginning to understand! :D
And Tecate makes me type a lot. This has been fav'd so hard, by the way, I hope you don't mind~ :DDDD

As for the hurdy gurdy... yes, yes I have played it now that I think of it! Whenever I work on medieval music there's one laying about, heh. I might have a recording, but probably not. I'm not good enough with it, heh.
