As far as the title goes, you get to decide where to put the hyphen! :D
So,
epicwang 's character Sepp is a shapeshifter, and she wanted me to draw Sepp as a donkey in order to be able to try on some of the fashionable offerings from the ECM Equine-Lingerie Boutique. So here she is! After becoming a donkey some jackass decided to spike her water bucket. :o
I don't know why i did this picture this way... but i liked doing it, and i like how it came out. (though i noticed the proportions are a bit wonky... her head and neck dwarf her body... We'll just say it's a characature. Yes.)

Yikes! I could see that being horrifying o.o Looking at the comments, seems a lot of people thought it was a scary scene when they were younger.
The donkeys are cute though...
The style of those older disney movies (and probably many animated films from that era) is really amazing, and probably an art that is dead for good at this point, with the technology we have now.

Hopefully i didn't screw up anything about Sepp too badly. I think i remembered all the details... Except for the grey nose, but i did it this way because horsie types don't really have a modular 'nose' that's separate, and stuff. Just air holes :)

Actually now that you bring it up it's interesting how many animals besides humans actually seek out drugs and substances that cause altered consciousness.
The Lemurs of Madagascar seek out a type of millipede that they bite and rub on their fur both as an insect repellant and to get a royal high. The Elephants of Africa will seek out a certain large fruit that has fermented after falling to the ground while ignoring the fresh fruit on the tree. And then there’s the crow’s trick of catching black ants and rubbing them in their feathers which also gives them a bit of a buzz (as seen from their flights afterwards) from the ant’s formic acid.
Saw this on a documentary about the reasons humans like to get high.

Hmmm, that's interesting... i didn't know about those things.
But getting high, or seeking altered states of mind, is not at all a product of modern civilization or anything like that...
Most plants that have mind-altering effects have been used for thousands of years by primitive humans, too. And since we are animals also, it's not too surprising that there are instances of this sort of thing occuring elsewhere in the animal kingdom.
And elephants are simply amazing... just in case anyone is unaware of this!

I bet you cold, I've seen people do some crazy things to horses to show them off. I remember watching a 'horse show' once where they had everything but those on, Glittered skin, rainbow painted hair, boots, fuzzy coats, makeup, hair styles, painted hooves, bows, spray on tattoos, painted designs. It looked like the kind of 'horse show' a 6 year old girl would have designed. lol It was cute but weird and I can't even remotely recal when or where I saw it on tv, but it must have been in the 90's still.
I'm sure at whatever that was, if that's a thing that happens regularly for fun that if one of those corrsettes ever showed up there people would be all over it.

actually I based sepp's markings on a donkey. I took a little artistic liberty, obviously - I actually call her dorsal stripe her donkey stripe :) it's kind of funny, I designed her markings so they would look best ON a donkey. she's exactly the opposite, however, I don't really know why......

I thought she looked more horse than donkey, aside from the massive ears and the tail. I know there are subtle differences, but i haven't had enough practice with donkeys to get them figured out...
