Awwww yes... she is adorable! I think it's the combination of her cute expression and such big cute footpaws that do it. Really neat to have two completely opposite coloured paws too at that. Wonderful texture work on the paw pads, and I like the poses of the toes and how you've wrinkled the pads a bit; implies their softness well. Really nice fur work again - that's gotta take some serious patience to pull off. Nice attention to detail too (like little pins holding up the light string).
This is gorgeous on so many levels that I don't even know where to start! The overall picture is so stunningly beautiful the way it is laid out and presented. The level of detail is astounding! I would be very curious to learn how many layers were involved in comprising the finished result!
I am very impressed with the very challenging pose and vantage point that the picture is drawn from. The difficulty is surprisingly easy to underestimate. The foreshortening needed to pull off the pose is very tricky and hard to represent while also getting the depth and proportions right. For example, her right foot just happens to be large enough to completely cover the rest of her leg from this specific angle, while almost all of her left leg can be seen.
Now let's talk about those fantastic feet, which are the highlight of the picture! I love how unique the colors look, with one foot having a white pad on a black sole while the other has a black pad on a white sole. It's almost like the yin and the yang. It's even more amusing with the fact that it's a panda that possesses them! A very cute play on a panda's unique mix of black and white colors!
The shape and form of the paws are also very beautiful-looking! I love how the feet are slightly flexed, bending and curving ever so slightly. I also love how her large chubby toes curl inwards slightly, as if trying to invite you in. All the texturing and detailing on the soles is unbelievable! Not only that, they way the light is interacting with the texture is also masterfully represented.
She also has a very cute-looking and playful face! I love her slight head-tilt as she seductively looks at her guest who has likely just entered the room. I love how her ears stick out of her flowing hair, and how she has a glint in her eye. I'm sure she would not protest to getting a nice foot massage, and it is probably what those eyes are asking for!
The way each of the Christmas lights are strung up and how they light up the room and set the mood is also quite brilliant! With this as the only light source, it gives all the shadowing a very unique look. It must have been very tedious to draw in and light every single little bulb!
The rich wood of the headboard is also amazingly patterned and detailed. I can't believe you had the patience to go in and show all the grains of wood all streaking about! Your efforts do not go unnoticed!
The bed covers are so amazingly detailed, with their ruffles and ripples, that you could almost swear it's a photograph! Incredible! I can even notice where her heel is digging into the mattress and causing an indent. The pillows also look very silky, smooth, and comfortable. Such painstaking details are very much appreciated, even if it's the background and not the focus of the picture!
Kudos to you for such a stunning scene and picture!
