Eclosion is a OOAK (one of a kind) gypsy vanner unicorn sculpture. He is made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature and painted in acrylics.

Eclosion is about 5 inches long from chest to bum, and about 5.5 inches tall from hoof to the crest of his neck. He has light blue inset resin eyes, and has been painted to a dappled palomino. His hair is different for my sculptures as I tried something new, using coarse, straight mohair rather than the softer, curled lamb fur I usually use. I wanted to use it for something that was suited for super long hair, and I think he fits it well. I don't know how it would work on a real horse, he'd end up stepping on it!

Eclosion is modeled after a gypsy vanner or cob, in a dynamic extended trot. He has an open mouth with sculpted teeth, and many small details including wrinkles and dapples. I haven't done an open mouth pose in a while, but I like how it turned out.
