ACEO 2.5" x 3.5" color pencil
Shot wit a camera that doesn't like blue. The blue of the dragon is mostly cobalt turquoise and light cobalt turquoise but didn't come out that way in the photo. I so wish I could post a good picture,the original is so much clearer and vivid.
Pretty much my first dragon and I had so much fun doing it!
I used smooth bristol for the first time on this piece and it did allow me to go a little finer on the detail than I normally can on my regular paper and really got into a bit of detail. ACEO are teaching me to work small and to try different things.:)

I figure we'll get paired up eventually and look forward to it. We belong to two of the ACEO trading groups on DA though I am only active in one right now. This is kind of a therapy for me as when it comes to commissions and larger art trades, I freeze up and can't do it. ACEO trades I'm doing OK with as they are small. It is also making me draw small which my normal pieces aren't. :)
