that was one of the several ideas: the admiral gave Baran a ship then hired Lesbian officers for him but the 'crew' are all undead and demons. the last thing any other pirate ship wants to deal with! Most other pirates will give up thier treasure instead of getting in a fight with the 'Blackship'.
